I was dropped into this world as a designer. My story started in the architecture space but knew I wouldn’t stay there. I have always loved learning, being challenged in different ways and being creative which led me into the UX space and elated it did. With AI becoming a stronger force and becoming more integrating into our lives, there is plenty to design properly and ethically. If you are curious, here’s a glimpse into a few more things about me.

Mentoring

As others have helped me grow, learn, adapt and improve, I want to ensure I help others do the same. I give some time to the Out of Architecture community and help others understand how their skills from architecture translate to other fields. If you’re curious and want to learn more about that, you can check out my guest episode here.

Rock Climbing

This is chess with your body and the most physically daunting thing I’ve ever done. I love how the route needs to be studied and iterated on in order to be completed. This challenges your body and mind at the same time while combining creativity and problem solving. Haven’t tried it? Don’t forget that chalk.

Travel

I’ve had the great fortune of visiting some amazing places on this floating blue marble. Visiting other cultures and continents can open your eyes and give you an amazing perspective on history, food, architecture, values, and of course, design. From sewer covers in Switzerland, cobblestone streets in Florence to the pace of life in Fiji, I'm always excited to plan the next trip.

Photography

With a little traveling under my belt, it needs to be documented, right? Imagery and visuals can evoke so much emotion and I try to document some in my very semi amateur stage. Buildings, landscapes, people, I capture moments in life worth remembering.
