Amazon

Day

Delivery

Project Overview

The team goal was to promote the use of Amazon Day delivery services, allowing customers to consolidate their orders into a single delivery on a day of their choice each week. By encouraging this option, we aimed to reduce the number of boxes used, lowering packaging costs and minimizing our environmental impact on a global scale. Customers would benefit from a more convenient and predictable delivery schedule. This initiative aligned with Amazon’s commitment to sustainability and efficiency, enhancing customer satisfaction while contributing to eco-friendly practices. Ultimately, we aimed to streamline operations and create a greener future for delivery services.

Objectives and Tactics

Integrated a seamless and prominent option for Amazon Day delivery at the checkout process, ensuring it was easy to understand and select.

Created a dedicated informational page that highlighted the environmental and cost-saving advantages of using Amazon Day delivery.

Developed a rewards program that incentivized customers to use Amazon Day delivery, offering discounts, credits, or exclusive offers for repeated use.

Design Concepts

Throughout the design iterations we studied multiple locations of where to place the leaf icon while paying attention to research interviews and what emotions it would elicit. It was key to display the icon at various stages of the experience from search, detail, cart and through check out to push the sustainability initiative forward.
